Introduction
------------

The FTI routine is a maximum likelyhood fitter designed to reconstruct muons that traverse the SNO detector (throughgoing muons).  The fitter fits for the entrance position, the muon direction, the total number of photoelectrons a "perfect" detector (no neck, no offline tubes) would have detected, and the entrance time (event t0).
