1)  For new event data the data type is controlled by the IJOBIDT word of the  
2)  For existing event data the data type is stored in the _DTP word of the EV and 
    MC banks.

 
3)  For titles (database) banks, the data type is stored in the _DATA_TYPE of 
    the Database Header
