To extract information from a titles bank, the syntax is
similar to the standard notation, with a few modifications:-
- Replace the bank name by the bank name and number separate by a dot e.g.
GEDP.200 In the event data structure, the bank number is generally unimportant
but has to be specified for title bank access.
- Link (i.e. negative) offsets are not permitted. Titles banks just form a
linear chain, there are no logical relationships between them.
- The data offset follows the convention for all titles banks in that it is
the offset in the User Data part of the bank i.e. ignores the database header.
As an example, consider a MC run with a generic D2O calibration source. The
inner volume of this source has, in words 10..12 of the GEDP.140 (140 =
ICALI_IVL) bank the translation vector which effectively is its position. To
compute the difference between this and the fitted event position:-
' rdev distance FTTV+$KFTXV_X,GEDP.$ICALI_IVL +10; '
If necessary, the system will request management of any titles banks that are
accessed in this way. If the bank is missing then the quantity is treated as
undefined, and then it is up to you to decide if you want to keep the n-tuple
entry or not.
