The options MAX= and SKIP= can be used to limit the number of event read and the number to be skipped when the file is opened. The $EVENT_LIMIT symbolic command also performs a global limit. It is better to:-
$event_limit 0to switch this off. This also changes the % processed messages into events processed messages that are issued with decreasing frequency, as more events are input.
