These are modelled as standard tubes, with the exception that the region 2 - region 5 interface is replaced with a virtual boundary, and region five is filled with the same material as medium 2. An extra region, region 8, is added to simulate the acrylic jacket which holds the PMTs in place. The supporting structures are not modelled.
