Assorted other points should be noted as they are limitations on what the
PMT software can be asked to do. Hopefully, with time these limitations
will be phased out. In the meantime,
the following points should also be noted:
- Various switches do not apply within the PMT/reflector
structure that apply
elsewhere. Specifically, the switches to remove Fresnel reflections,
bounces and
Rayleigh scattering are not
enabled within the PMT structure.
- Various physics interactions are ignored in the PMT/reflector
structure. Specifically, no attenuation or rayleigh scattering
is catered for within the bulk of
the PMT/reflector structure.
