The Generic inner calibration source consists of the following regions:-
- Region IDRG_ICALI_OVL, represents the outer detector volume
and can be any of the primitives: sphere, cylinder, block, elliptical cylinder,
half-elliptical torus, half-square torus, torus segment or spherical tile.
This region must be enabled when using the generic source and must contain
all inner regions listed below.
- Region IDRG_ICALI_IVL, represents the first inner volume contained
within IDRG_ICALI_OVL. It may also be any of the primitives previously
listed.
- Region IDRG_ICALI_IVL2, represents the second inner volume contained
within IDRG_ICALI_OVL. It may be any of the primitive shapes listed.
- Region IDRG_ICALI_IIVL21, represents the first ``inner-inner''
volume contained within IDRG_ICALI_IVL2. If IDRG_ICALI_IVL2 is
disabled, this region is contained directly within IDRG_ICALI_OVL.
It may be any of the primitive shapes listed.
- Region IDRG_ICALI_IIVL22, represents the second ``inner-inner''
volume contained within IDRG_ICALI_IVL2. If IDRG_ICALI_IVL2 is
disabled, this region is contained directly within IDRG_ICALI_OVL.
It may be any of the primitive shapes listed.
User Control
The user can enable a calibration source placed anywhere in the D2O. This
source currently consists of two concentric spheres or cylinders or a
combination of them. To enable
such a source the GEDP and GEDS banks 130 and 140 for the calibration source
inner and outer volumes should be altered to have the appropriate:-
In addition the enable flag in both GEDS banks should be set. Note that
SNOMAN comes complete with a set of command files (see the .cmd files)
including ones that implement all the above changes as sets of SET BANK
commands.
