• Call sequence: call geda_*

• For NEXT and NEAR :-
  1. Use the data held in the GEDP titles bank which describes the positioning of each detector element in the array to produce a list of detector element serial numbers that need to be checked.

     Important: If the reference region type (IGE_REG_TYP) is this detector element type, then its the external boundary of the region with serial number IGE_REG_SER that is required, so the list reduces to a single entry with serial number IGE_REG_SER.

  2. This list is held in IGE_SER_ARRY. For each serial number on this list set IGED_REG_SER and call GEDX.

• For PICK :-
  1. If the serial number IGE_REG_SER is 0 then pick a random serial number, give it to IGED_REG_SER and call GEDX. Otherwise just call GEDX having set IGED_REG_SER equal to IGE_REG_SER.
