Installation

In order to run, the XSNOED display code needs access to a configuration file .XSnoed and set of data files. If you already use the stand alone program XSNOED then there is nothing further to do; the same set up that works there should work for the XSNOED version built into SNOMAN. If you don't use it stand alone then you need to provide it with these files. They are all located in the xsnoed subdirectory of the code directory. The recommended procedure is to:-

1. Take a copy of XSnoed.resource from there and place it in your home directory with the name .XSnoed

2. Edit this copy and set the "file_path" resource to point to where the other files can be found i.e. the xsnoed subdirectory of the code directory.
