This processor is not part of the standard SNOMAN release. To use it please see Installing the C++ Extension (section 3.1.2)
The QIO processor allows one to output the SNOMAN data structure to a root tree, and to read a root tree back into SNOMAN. It also outputs singles histograms of charge and time (RCH files) that are used for optics calibration, and can be viewed either with XSnoed or with Root.
The data are written to tape through QEvent objects, which contain event level, pmt-level, and fit-level information. This is a C++ processor, which is described in more detail in the documentaion of the QEvent and QTree classes, which can be reached through the <qsno documenation page.>.
