Output Summary Histogram Files

The PEDS file contains 3 1-D histograms: Good Channels per 1/2 Crate, Suspicious Channels per 1/2 Crate and Bad Channels per 1/2 Crate. These are intended to aide in tracking down potential hardware problems. 1/2 crate numbers run from 1 to 38 (2 times crates 0-18). If the long version of the summary file is requested (see below), then this file also contains the ntuple 700. The first ntuple entry is the packed card/crate/channel/cell number. Invoke the kumac ECA_QTSLOPE.KUMAC which, among other things, will extract values for the variables CRATE, CARD, CHAN and CELL. The next 4 entries are the Q_HS, Q_HL, Q_LX and Time pedestals. Negative values indicate they have been flagged as ``suspicious''.

The TSLP file contains the same 1-D histograms (this time based on the behavior of the TSlope data). In addition, it contains a 2-D histogram of average fit time-slope values for each 1/2 crate. For the long version of the summary file, ntuple 700 similarly has as it's first entry the packed card/crate/channel/cell number. The second is the injected time value (a negative value means the channel has been flagged as ``suspicious''), the third is the corresponding median digitized value (a negative value here means the channel has been flagged as ``bad''), and the fourth is the average fit slope.

Finally, the QSLP file is ver similar to the TSLP file, except It contains 3 2-D histograms of average fit charge-slope values (one for Q_HS, one for Q_HL and one for Q_LX) for each 1/2 crate. For the long version of the summary file, ntuple 700 similarly has as it's first entry the packed card/crate/channel/cell number. The second is the injected charge value (a negative value means the channel has been flagged as ``suspicious''), the third is the corresponding median digitized value (a negative value here means the channel has been flagged as "bad"), and the fourth is the packed average fit slope and charge type (Q_HS, Q_HL or Q_LX). The ECA_QTSLOPE.KUMAC will also have defined the variables QTYP (values of 1, 2 and 3, respectively) and SLOPE based on this.
