Running ECA

To perform an ECA calibration, at the SNOMAN prompt you must first choose which type of calibration to perform: QSlope, TSlope or Pedestals. Mnemonics have been defined for these, so you just have to issue one of the commands: $QSlope, $TSlope or $Pedestals. Next load an appropriate command file, such as the example ECA_READ.CMD which just defines the processors, specifies the input data files, loads the titles file ECA_CONTROL.DAT and runs snoman. Two files will be generated for a given calibration: the calibration data file itself, and a summary histogram file. The files will be of the form prefix_date_version.extension For the calibration files ``prefix'' is either QECA, TECA or PECA and the "extension" is DAT. For the summary files the ``prefix'' is either QSLP, TSLP or PEDS and the ``extension'' is NTP.
