Next: Structure of ANXX Banks Up: Abnormal Channel Analyser Previous: Abnormal Channel Analyser   Contents

Overview

The ANXX banks are intended to determine the bad channels based on several mechanisms: calibrated TAC, QHS, QHL, QLX, EHS/ELX gain ratio, synclear error, cell id increment, low occupancy, excessive orphan hits, and high occupancy. The first five mechanisms are checked using PCA or N16 data, and the rest five using raw neutrino data. When checking these mechanisms, all tubes are included in the ANXX analysis regardless of whether the tube is tagged in DQXX banks or fails eca/pca calibrations.
