These are in fact three sets of arrays each with ten regions:-
- Region array IDRG_BLY_PLATE, a spherical tile effectively ANDed with an
octahedron to form the beveled sides.
- Region array IDRG_BLY_GROOVE, two elliptical cylinders, two blocks, half
an elliptical torus, and half a square torus combined to form the groove cut out
of the belly plate to house the support rope.
- Region array IDRG_BLY_ROPE, two cylinders and half a torus combined to
form the support rope which passes through the rope groove in the belly plate
and extends upwards through the Panel Zone Volume.
User Control
The belly plates, grooves and ropes are disabled in the standard code
but can be switched on with the command file GEOM_BELLY_PLATE_ROPE.CMD
provided. Alternatively individual arrays can be switched on in the titles
banks as follows:
- To enable the belly plates set the enable flag (word 1) of GEDS 310 to 1.
- To enable the belly grooves set the enable flag (word 1) of GEDS 315 to 1.
- To enable the ropes set the enable flag (word 1) of GEDS 320 to 1.

Note that kevlar is included in the media banks and is used
to describe the ropes.
