Execution-Time Control

The user can control standard SNOMAN code at execution time with two sets of commands:-

User code can also use these mechanisms so that it can have the same look and feel. This is clearly important if the code will eventually migate into SNOMAN. In the case of the FILE command, only the USR stream is available, but may be used even if the user code does not go into the USR processor (so long as the user does not also switch on USR!) The standard USR as supplied provides a simple demonstration of both the FILE command and a titles bank. For a detailed discussion of titles banks and the FILE command, see the Programmer's Manual.
