Creating the Input N-tuple

To create the input n-tuple proceed as follows:-

• Switch to a some convenient working directory and copy all

  tca_demo*.*

  files from the examples directory to it.

• Run paw and type:-

  exec tca_demo

  which will create 100 event n-tuple file called:-

  tca_demo_in.ntp

  The n-tuple has 8 variables:-

  TIME_JDY TIME_SEC TIME_MSC TIME_NSC

  4 words defining the current absolute time: Julian Date, Universal Time seconds, Universal Time microseconds, Universal Time nanoseconds.

  NHIT

  Number of PMT hits.

  X_FIT Y_FIT Z_FIT

  Fitted X, Y, Z.

The n-tuple is extremely artificial, it consists of the same 10 events repeated 10 times with a perfect time spacing of 1 msec between them. Still, it is sufficient to demonstrate all the features of TCA.
